Easter eggcellence Trick or treat week Summer Streetwise
Engaging with Children and Young people keeping safe while having fun.
ACES have run their popular school holidays clubs since its inception. We understand that parents have difficulty in keeping kids occupied during term breaks and by providing a fun place to spend thier day, we can help look after kids and as well as have fun and educate them in different things from social history, to knife crime, and bullying Each term break has a different theme such as easter eggcellence week , trick or treat week and the very popular summer steetwise these clubs operate daily from 10am till 3pm for 5 days, eggcept (sorry!) streetwise which runs for 5 weeks every summer. Events include away days to Scotland's attractions
Deep sea world, M & Ds, Summerlee, fruit picking, in Paisley to paddling in Ayr with a few custard pies ''thrown in '' easter sees a busy week of chocolate egg making with added elements smarter than a woodwynd wean, involves coaches and volunteers pitting their wits against the kids to answer questions, losers having a custard pie thrown at them, I'm an ACES wean get me out of here gets kids to try different ''food groups '' such as chocolate and sausage, marshmallow and gravy and many many more. (The clubs have engaged with a total of 20,753 kids since 2006 (taking each visit as One)
